Project: Warcraft-Style Artwork Shield 3D Modeling for Video Game
Project Description
This project consisted of creating a 3D shield inspired by the iconic Warcraft art style for a video game developed in Unreal Engine. The goal was to design a visually striking shield filled with detailed elements and an epic aesthetic that complemented the game’s universe, while also ensuring optimization for an interactive environment.
My Contribution to the Project
I participated in the entire creative and technical development process of the shield, ensuring that it met the aesthetic and performance standards required for video games. My tasks included:
- Concept Design: Creation of an original shield design inspired by the Warcraft artwork style, featuring elaborate details and an epic aesthetic.
- 3D Modeling: Development of both low-poly and high-poly versions optimized for video games, ensuring that details were highlighted without compromising performance.
- Texturing: Application of high-quality materials and textures that enhanced visual elements such as metallic ornaments, wear effects, and embossed details.
- Rendering: Creation of high-quality renders for presentations and promotional material for the video game.
- Unreal Engine Preparation: Exporting and configuring the necessary files for seamless integration into the game engine, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
Result
The shield became a standout visual element within the video game, contributing to the universe design through its unique and epic style. This project showcases my ability to work on 3D art projects inspired by recognizable artistic styles, combining creativity and technical skills to produce high-quality assets optimized for video games.
